Stone Benchtops

A budget conscious choice, High Pressure Decorative Laminate (Still mostly refered to as Formica) may be just what you need. Not as durable as stone, you still get a great surface to work on and is availble in a number of elegant colours.

So when would you want a Formica benchtop?

Some examples include:

You're not doing a full renovation of your kitchen, just a "freshening" up or replacing the existing Formica bench top
You have a more restricted budget
When a stone benchtop just doesn't match the style of the kitchen
You're happy with a simpler, great looking bench top that should still last you a good while!
You're careful with your bench top and don't place any hot pots or pans on it, and keep sharp objects away from it
